Chances are you're not the only one who has thought of going on a romantic cruise. The presence of other couples on the ship can add to the atmosphere. Quite frequently, the couples that choose a sailing vacation are honeymooners. If this is your case, its a good idea to shop around a bit before choosing a cruise line. Many cruise ships will offer honeymooners attractive rates, along with surprising privileges such as the otherwise rare chance of having a table for two at the restaurant; they will spoil their newly-wed guests with breakfast in bed, special fluffy robes, or even a wedding cake. If there are no such favors available for free, you can still get some good deals and the possibility to plan some surprises for your beloved ?for instance, ordering some flowers and arranging that they will already be in your room before you board the ship.
Many newlyweds choose Carnival Cruises - actually, not just newlyweds, but other couples as well, looking for a cruise that will create a fairy tale setting to reignite their relationship or make them feel honeymooners again. You can have balloons and flags in your cabin, to enhance the magical atmosphere and make it really feel like a trip into love world. You'll need to pay a fee for these decorations, but the wedding cake at your first dinner on the ship is free. You can also purchase a honeymoon package including champagne, T-shirts, cameras, and other items that probably wouldn't even come to your mind, but which can push unperceivable buttons and add to the enjoyment.
Another popular line is Princess Cruises. Cabin decorations are free, as is the wedding cake. There are also two honeymoon packages available for purchase - Honeymoon Experience and Princess Honeymoon Experience. The former is the more inexpensive one, offering you champagne and two engraved champagne glasses, chocolate strawberries, and two long-stemmed roses for a little less than $150. The latter package is more expensive, but you get massages, fluffy robes, breakfast in bed, and appetizers delivered to your room, plus everything included in the more economical version.
