A wedding is a blissful and very special event in ones life and preparing it, such as designing the invitations, choosing the menu, and which colors might create a nice atmosphere, can be an enjoyable task. So the wedding may unavoidably mean a stressful time as well.

In case you would like to easily organize a wedding which includes everything, the ceremony, the reception and your honeymoon, while still not exceeding your financial possibilities, setting it on a cruiser is an attractive option.
A lot of cruise lines are equipped for organizing a wedding on board and will take care of all the relevant measures. The wedding planner, who is responsible for the organization, can cost around a few thousand dollars, but with a little luck you can find offers for a slightly simpler, but still wonderfully arranged and impressive wedding on board for less for than a thousand dollars. And do not forget that this price includes your honeymoon vacation on a luxury cruise ship as well.
Of course nobody expects that all of your wedding guests will get a cruise ticket and come sailing around the world to celebrate your wedding with you. So the cruise lines let your guests come on board for the ceremony and stay at the reception for a couple of hours afterwards. Sometimes you can choose if you want to stay in the port or go out on the water during the wedding. Still, often the ship will not leave the port since it might get difficulties with the marriage license and the question whether the marriage took place on the country's territory or on international waters.

With Princess Cruises you can even get packages that will make the bride and the groom feel like a princess and prince before the wedding and arrange a lot of extras like romantic live music with stringed instruments, flowers and candles to make your wedding truly an event that you, your loved one and all your guests never will forget.
