Memories of a Cruise?

Going on a cruise is an experience you do not live every day - actually, it may even be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. But even if you take several cruises, you can be sure that no two will be alike: the destination, the boat, the activities and the adventures, everything can vary. And in order to remember these unique times in your life very closely, it's a great idea to preserve your memories. Here you can find some tips for what you can do already during the journey to make sure you'll have lots of precious memories.

This feeling might be familiar to you - some discomfort taking pictures when there are many people around, because you don't want to look like the typical tourist... But just don't care about that - the others surely won't care about it either. They are tourists themselves and all have their own cameras in their bags, ready to come into operation when there is a good chance. And when you later look at the pictures of this great holiday you will be glad to have taken them.

The crew in their typical uniforms, or even the captain himself, are nice motifs that should be found in some of your pictures. If you choose a moment when they are not busy and you ask nicely, they will not resist and the picture will be a great contribution to your collection. And if you put away your compunctions about taking pictures, you can even have a lot of fun while doing it.

Just imagine the faces of your friends when you show them a picture on which you're furtively trying to throw your companion over board! Feel free to set up situations you would like to have on your pictures to remember for the rest of your life - may they be funny, romantic or even silly ones.

Another lovely thing to have later is a scrapbook or a memory box. There is a secret to giving them true personal value, and this secret is: save as much as you can! There are so many little things which don't seem very special during the journey, but taken out of your memory box years later they will bring back pictures in your head that would otherwise stay hidden in some back drawer in your mind.

On your room reservation you can find details which will remind you of some special amenities that beautified your stay, and if you ask the waiter for a copy of the menu you'll get a nice memory of your first dinner on the cruise ship. Even the casino slip from the evening when you lost $50 in bingo will make you laugh a few years later (this particular memory might require some time to become funny).

So have a wonderful time during your cruise, make a lot of nice experiences worth to remember and preserve these memories! There are lots of things suitable to become good memories, so you should go with stealing the soap only in emergencies.
