Welcome to Luxury Cruise Guide

Celebrate by Cruising
A cruise can be more than just a vacation. With a flourishing cruise industry there come more and more extravagant offers such as making a cruise ship the place to celebrate certain occasions. A luxury sail for a few days or a couple of weeks makes a
great setting for several joyful events.
Honeymoons are probably the most obvious among the occasions you can celebrate on a cruise ship. Since there is hardly anything more romantic than a cruise, to make it your honeymoon vacation is the choice par excellence.
Besides the romance it is very comfortable as well, you can travel the seven seas (or at least one of them) while staying comfortably in a snug and homey cabin. Traveling around typically presupposes the annoying (sometimes recurrent) sequence of packing and unpacking, time spent in airports, and the insecurity about reservations: when you think about it that way, the advantages of a cruise become obvious. There are lots of romantic things to do on board and ashore. You can have fun with the other people aboard or retreat in your cabin. A couple sailing into the sunset and into a new life together is not just a nice picture, but also a wonderful experience if you decide for it.
But there's more to celebrate than just honeymoons. Retirement. The start of your after work life is an occasion that deserves appropriate advertency. It is therefore not surprising that many golden-agers decide to spend some of their hard-earned money to celebrate and relax on a luxury cruise. There are many offers on board corresponding to the liking of seniors, such as great dinners, gambling and evening shows, to mention just a few. And the conditions on a cruise ship will also meet the needs of those with less mobility.
There is nothing the passengers have to be concerned with: the driving is done by the captain and his crew, and the destination is coming to them. For retiring couples, a cruise is a great chance to find their way together in this new stage of life. It's also a nice setting to meet other people and make new friends.
But cruisers don't have to wait till they get married or retire, they can start their sailing experience as early as childhood. It was a smart move of cruise companies to make their offers interesting for kids and families as well, because demand coming from these groups has grown impressively. Special family-friendly deals and packages, in which kids become a chance to save money, have been arising to encourage this trend.
And since the cruise companies make parents bring their youngsters, they will of course have dedicated programme on board for the younger ones to make them enjoy their trip. There's even babysitter service available, designed to allow parents to enjoy some time alone. If you book a party in advance there are often discount rates available, so why not celebrate your child's birthday on a day-long cruise? You can invite all their friends and they can take pleasure in a clown party or a roller-skating derby on board. This might become one of the most memorable birthdays ever.
It shouldn't come as a surprise that the cruise industry is so blooming. There are obvious reasons to be found in people's desire to part with their onshore worries, the comfort of enjoying many days of entertainment and traveling without having to leave the ship, and the attractiveness of a celebration on board. With the increasing affordability of cruises, all these tendencies will probably amplify even more.
